In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Feeling Fancy.”
You’re given unlimited funds to plan one day full of any and all luxuries you normally can’t afford. Tell us about your extravagant day with as much detail as possible.
Morning: I will wake up and eat breakfast.
Afternoon-Evening: Using the fastest private jet in the world, I will fly to my grandmother who lives on the other side of world and tell her how much I love her. I will take her out to lunch and early dinner and have her tell me her life story all over again.
Midnight: I will be back in my bed back to my side of the world.
Time and a private jet are necessary to create one-day memories that can possibly last a lifetime.
I hope the CEOs, presidents, kings, and queens of this world realize how great of an opportunity they have in their hands to create something beyond a piece of paper or a precious stone in their pockets.
I may have no private jets, but at least I have time.
And words–a poor man’s treasure.
