And now I pass it on to you.
If it doesn’t serve you, let it go. You don’t have to take it all with you in 2015.
Keep the good and the bad. Even the bad ones–if they serve you. If they remind you that things have a way of turning around. If they remind you that there is a way out. If they remind you that not all good things come easy. If the hurt reminds you of how much love you have been given.
And keep the good–if it serves you. If it humbles you. If it makes you want to love more. If it makes you more kind. If it gives you peace.
Cleaning out your closet doesn’t mean throwing away everything. But it is finding the good in what was once perceived as sorrowful and fearful. Never forget. Remember with a better understanding and a better heart.
2015 looks like a dark fog to me. I can’t see through the clouds that have decided to descend near to us mortals.
But clouds also hold water that blankets the earth with snow and nourishes it with rain and creates the beautiful colours of the rainbow.
I need to clean out some of the fear and make room for more hope.
Happy new year, everyone!
